MALTA – Maltese artist Destiny, today released a symphonic version of her Eurovision Song Contest song Je Me Casse. This version was recorded together with The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra and was recorded at the iconic Fort St.Elmo in Valletta.
This collaboration is a testament that Je Me Casse is a versatile song that can be interpreted in many ways. When a song lends itself so beautifully in different renditions, it is indeed a seal of approval towards its true value and versatility.
Talking about this rendition, Destiny stated that
“This was one of the greatest experiences in my Eurovision Song Contest journey so far, the fact that I got to work closely with the iconic Malta Philharmonic Orchestra is in itself a great achievement but creating such a rendition and giving me and every one a different side to Je Me Casse gives me goosebumps, I hope people will enjoy this version as much as I enjoyed working on it”
A special round of thanks goes to The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Visit Malta, Heritage Malta, Arturo Pellegrini, Mro. Kevin Abela for his musical arrangement and Besteam Audio for their support throughout this project.
