ITALY – Global Citizen Live has brought together a series of concerts across seven countries for 24 hours. The star-studded lineup included some of the most well-known personalities from the past and today.
Duran Duran, Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, BTS, Billie Eilish, Demi Lovato, The Weeknd, and Elton John are just a few examples! Eurovision viewers would have seen Italian champions Mneskin in the line-up during the Paris leg of the show! Måneskin performed in the Champ de Mars location with the iconic Eiffel Tower background, with Christine and the Queens, Black Eyed Peas, Elton John, and many more.
Måneskin played well-known songs and covers to an ecstatic audience throughout their 20-minute live performance. The audience sang along to ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave,’ ‘Bury A Friend,’ ‘For Your Love,’ ‘Beggin,’ and of course their Eurovision winning song, ‘Zitti E Buoni,’ in scenes not seen since the epidemic started. Damiano, on the other hand, reminded us of what is really essential in these times.
“Hi, Paris! We want to say, it’s a huge honor for us to be part of these events. This meaningful event. We all have to take our privilege and use it against injustice. Everyone deserves equal rights and even the smallest things can make a huge difference. Thank you for being part of it, enjoy the show.”
