SPAIN – In a recent interview to Spanish media, Manel Navarro, who represented Spain at Eurovision last year has commented how he feels that the event was a long time ago, longer than the year since he took part.
He says that he has fond memories of the event but has been busy touring around Europe and working on many other things, among which has been colaborating with other Eurovision stars. He has also been to visit the contestants at Operación Triunfo (Fame Academy) which TVE is holding in what will likely be part of the selection process for this year.
Manel stated that he found all the contestants to be extremely talented and although he has a favourite, he considers that should the winner come from the television show, he would be fine with that.
He feels that every participant is ready to represent Spain and to take part in the Eurovision experience. He looks forward to his career moving forward and wishes everyone luck in this years’ contest, whoever is ultimately chosen to represent Spain in Lisbon.
