RUSSIA – Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin were in Moscow for various concerts and interviews, lots of which were canceled.
Måneskin had to cancel two interviews and finally spoke to Ksenia Sobchak and Tatyana Mingalimova and gave no explanation over the canceled media meetings.
In the two interviews (in total) given, the Italian band was obviously banned any political and social questions to avoid controversies.
WHAT HAPPENED WITH MARUV?
In the meantime, another issue is discussed in Russia. MARUV (who was supposed to represent Ukraine in Eurovision 2019) was supposed to open one of their concerts and have a duet with Máneskin.
For unknown reasons, the rehearsals were postponed several times forcing MARUV to withdraw from the entire performance.
While that was happening, Máneskin were posting on Instagram the cover of GO_A’s “SHUM” making the Russian press furious.
The Russian trip, however, ended with the group attending Ivan Urgant’s TVshow. The group gave a short interview and staged a makeup tutorial, providing an extreme make-over to Urgant.
