In an interview to Nezavisen vesnik, North Macedonian entrant Tamara revealed details of her preparations to the contest: Singer will be joined on the stage by three backing vocalists Aleksandra Janeva, Antonia Gigovska and Vasil Garvanliev. Aleksandar Noshpal will take care of the style, while Swedish team is working on the staging of the entry. “I am happy to have an excellent team beside myself. Thanks to them and their dedication, this year my main task is to sing the song as best I can, and of course, I will do it”.
Swedish performers Adam Svensson, Jennie Jahns, Erik Segerstedt and Simon Lingmerth started rehearsals for Sergey Lazarev’s stage presentation for Eurovision 2019. Adam and Jennie have already performed with Sergey at Eurovision 2016. The stage performance is directed by the Greek director Fokas Evagelinos, who this year is also working on the staging of Spanish entry.

The SRF has revealed that the famous Swedish director and choreographer Sacha Jean-Baptiste will arrange the participation of Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv. Luca and Sacha had the first rehearsals today, as Luca Hänni himself published through his personal social media accounts.
Finland’s state broadcaster recently confirmed that it will return to De Eurovisa, the program of analysis for the Eurovision Song Contest for the eighth consecutive year. Based on the Inför Eurovision Song Contest, SVT’s program, De Eurovisa 2019 will be presented by Eva Frantz and Johan Lindroos and will have four special guests who will vote on their favorite contest entries.
A year after making his appearance in the Grand Final of the Song Festival 2018, Portuguese-Canadian singer-songwriter Peter Serrado released his debut album. With thirteen songs, “Peter Serrado” has two songs interpreted in Portuguese and “Sunset & a city”, new version of the theme with which it won the 11th place in the Final of the Song Festival in Guimarães.

Noel Curran, CEO of the EBU, the European Broadcasting Union, sent a firm letter to Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon urging him to immediately transfer NIS 70 million to the broadcasting corporation KAN in order to deal with the cost of hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest in Israel, “I urgently write to you as CEO of the EBU, representing 117 public broadcasters in 56 countries, regarding the funding of the Eurovision 2019. Unfortunately, we found that, contrary to previous statements made during our meetings in Israel, The NIS 70 million that you were supposed to transfer to KAN for the Eurovision financing were transferred to the corporation only through a loan spread over 15 years”, quotes newspaper Haaretz.

Israeli Host Broadcaster KAN has developed a game that contains all 41 tracks of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. It works like this: the participating songs play for 20 seconds without any mention of the country, artist, or song title and you swipe them left or right to decide which entries you like best.
