MOLDOVA
Just before the lunch break and despite the big delay in uploading the official and only available videos, Moldova takes the stage with Aliona Moon performing the song “O Mie” representing her country hoping to proceed to the final again this year.
WHAT WE LIKED
Aliona Moon gave a confident performance today, and her dress was impressive indeed: It’s long and white, and the same images shown in the background are also projected on her dress. Aliona was standing on a podium which was lifted toward the end of the song, with the dress unfolding and extending along with it. (by eurovision.tv as we missed this one due to technical difficulties)
WHAT WE DISLIKED
I truly cannot find something wrong with this entry. The perfect vocal performance and the safe stage presentation seem to bring Moldova to the final. Indeed a good entry made by Pasha Parfeny. Can see it in the final easily though.
INFORMATION ABOUT MOLDOVA
Aliona Munteanu was born on the 25th of May 1989 in Chisinau. Ethnical Moldavian songs and lullabies sung by her mother cultivated Alionaโs love for music. Since her childhood Aliona was a member of lots of artistic collectives, where she performed both music and dances. As their member, Aliona participated at different contests in Hungary, Belarus, France, Romania, Bulgaria and of course in her motherland Moldova.
