Farid Mammadov is representing Azerbaijan with the song “Hold Me” and he brought his Greek team in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Under the guides of Fokas Evangelinos and with the song of Dimitris Kontopoulos, Farid presents his entry today.
WHAT WE LIKED
Simpe an sophisticated Farid Mammadov defends as a true bozer the stage of the Eurovision Song Contest. He has two dancers with him and performs acrobatics through a glass box in the first part of the song. A girl also appears on stage playing a mysterious role with Farid. “The glass box symbolizes the logic in our lives. But, inside logic there’s a whole another world, full of passion, emotions, and love. When you’re in love, sometimes you may find your life and soul upside down,” comments Fokas on the creative idea. The dancer inside the box stands for the shadow of hero’s (Farid’s) soul. He would stay within the logic of his normal life, if it wasn’t the girl who brought passion of love and created a storm in it.
WHAT WE DISLIKED
We disliked one thing: Farid was overdressed today, it’s the first rehearsal, he should have shown us some muscles I guess. Talking seriously now when u watch the video below do you really believe that there could be something wrong with this Lad of Fire?
