FINLAND – KRISTA SIEGFRIDS – MARRY ME

This is in quite contrast to the previous performance, especially the lighting and staging which actually works to its advantage. The vocals were a bit off at the beginning but warmed up as the song progressed. The choreography was in synch and worked well, though the backing dancers are a bit over the top. It remains to seen whether the song is strong enough to make people vote for it.
MALTA – GIANLUC BEZZINA – TOMORROW

Maltaโs song stands out this year and the staging is very good. This is a bright and fun song. The lyrics are displayed as they are sung in the background. Gianluca sings well and the vocals are good on this run through. The ending is also good with the Maltese singer taking a seat on the bench with his backing vocalists and finishing the song with his team.
BULGARIA – ELITSA TODOROVA & STOYAN YANKOULOV – SAMO SHAMPIONI

Bulgariaโs ethno mix is up nest and the stage turns red. The vocals are good though the backing singers in national dress take the attention away from the actual performance (since they are doing most of the singing). The drumming is good and there are a lot of wind machine moments throughout the performance and there are pyrotechnics galore.
ICELAND – EYTHOR INGI – รG A LIF

Itโs Icelandโs turn. A nice backdrop here of a few houses on the sea. Vocals are very good especially when he holds the long note near the end. Eythor stands in the same spot throughout most of the song, which is fitting considering the style. Nice reception in the hall for this one.
