VIENNA, AUSTRIA – The hosts of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest, Mirjam Weichselbraun, Alice Tumler and Arabella Kiesbauer, have had twelve dresses designed for the event this year.
Fashion company ART, which created Conchita Wurst’s golden dress worn at the contest last year as she stormed to victory, has again been commissioned by broadcaster ORF to style its hosts. The network has revealed the host’s attire for the first semi final next Tuesday.
Arabella Kiesbauer will wear a feminine and elegant evening dress in aloe green with artful draperies. Alice Tumler will present the show in a slim-fit short dress made of mint-colored silk, while Mirjam Weichselbraun will go on stage in a low-cut body-enhancing tuxedo in dark British green.
A total of 300 metres of fabric has been processed, 1 kilometre of seams, 250.000 stitches, 1.5 kilometres of leather fringes were cut, and 10.000 Swarovski stones have been applied. All of these will dazzle on stage together with the hosts on May 19, 21 and 23.
