ESTONIA 🇪🇪
Following his 19th place finish in the Grand Final last weekend with his song “Storm”, Estonia’s Victor Crone said that he was disappointed with his result, stating:

“It was a surreal experience, I’ve been watching and dreaming about Eurovision since childhood and I think there were many children in front of TVs today. I fulfilled my dream, but I want to come back and reach the top five”.

SAN MARINO 🇸🇲
SMRTV Director General lamented the vote of the Italian jury, who put “Say Na Na Na” last: “was the only negative point” said Carlo Romeo, remembering that this also happened in 2014, year in which Valentina Monetta represented the country and was last in the Italian vote. In the Grand Final voting, three of the five Italian jurors placed San Marino in last place, with the 22nd and 24th places awarded by the remaining jurors, were insufficient to take the country out of the last place, which stood at 21. Place in the Italian televote. On the other hand, Italy won the Italian jury vote with three maximum scores, while in third place in the country’s television, which is the result of an average of five countries chosen at random.

THE NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱
The final chords of Duncan Laurence’s victory-lap performance of Arcade had barely fallen silent on Sunday morning as Dutch cities began jostling for the right to stage next year’s Eurovision Song Contest. The Hague, Maastricht and Zwolle are among the towns that have said they are keen to host the first Eurovision on Dutch soil for 40 years, in the wake of Laurence’s triumph in Tel Aviv. One thing the organisers won’t be enjoying is an influx of public money, after prime minister Mark Rutte immediately ruled out giving the state broadcaster NOS a Eurovision windfall. The bill is estimated at around €30 million, but Rutte told WNL Zondag: ‘That can come out of the budget, adding that Sweden put the event on for €15 million in 2016.

THE NETHERLANDS 🇳🇱
Just 24 hours after his victory at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, Duncan Laurence’s “Arcade” reached double platinum status in The Netherlands.

UNITED KINGDOM 🇬🇧
Eurovision’s UK entry Michael Rice has blamed Brexit for coming last and scoring just 16 points from Europe. The 21-year-old hoped to turn the UK’s success around with track Bigger Than Us during last night’s competition. However he received just 13 points from the European juries and just three from the public (or Ireland to be exact). Meanwhile the Netherlands’ Duncan Laurence stormed to victory after receiving 492 points for Arcade. Michael, from Hartlepool, has now spoken out and insisted that it was now impossible for the UK to win the song contest due to political bias.
