THE NETHERLANDS – Live from Rotterdam, this post will come to you online at the end of each day of the Eurovision rehearsal weeks. This post will feature the latest news coming from the artists themselves as posted on their social media on an oikotimes post.
SWEDEN
Swedish delegation departed this morning from Arlanda airport heading to Rotterdam. Christer Bjรถrkamn was happy enough to make the posting and inform the Eurofans.
LITHUANIA
LRT posted a photo of the entire delegation and their representatives THE ROOP band departing from Vilnius for Rotterdam.
IRELAND
Team Lesley is also gearing up for Rotterdam as Team Ireland is ready for departing Dublin and head to Rotterdam. Optimistic and positive, Lesley always loves to interact through social media with the EUrovision fandom.
HOST COUNTRY
In a recent interview head of the show, Gerben Bakker explained that pre-recorded videos will play a key role in the opening and the interval of the three live shows.
โWe will be much more integrating pre-recorded video in the [opening and interval] acts. Creatively it will be very interesting but also more secure, that the unique content is already on tape. Our biggest aim was to be different from earlier editions of Eurovision and to use our host city of Rotterdam as a second location to do performances. I was kind of inspired by the VMAs in 2020 when The Weeknd performed on a rooftop in New York. Letโs try to do this with previous winners in Rotterdam. Our classical orchestra, we cannot put them on the stage but what can we do? Maybe we can shoot an amazing video in the centre of Rotterdam by night on the world-famous Erasmus Bridge. So we did that, weโre now finishing the video and it will be very impressive and I think much more surprising than our plans for 2020.โ
BELGIUM
Alex, Raymond and Geike are celebrating the 25th anniversary with the release of their new album Hidden Stories in their own exposition in their hometown. The Mad About Hooverphonic exposition is hosted in Sint-Niklaas in Belgium, at the beautiful hall “De Casino”.
POLAND
Personally, I think it’s the most innovative Eurovision travelling ever. Rafaล Brzozowski proves how most of us really want to travel for Eurovision when the time arrives. Not to mention how much I laughed.
