SWEDEN – First semi-final entries’ full version leaked on the web ahead of tonight’s show. Nevertheless, in tonight’s first show, we will see interesting acts:
Danny Saucedo, returns this year for his fourth participation in Melodifestivalen, being one of the favourites for the victory.
Jessica Anderson won the Melodifestivalen 2003 as a duet with Fame. This will be the sixth time he participates as a solo artist, having the ultimate in appearances in finals.
Arvingarna have previously beaten Melodifestivalen and represented Sweden at Eurovision 1993. After their successful appearance at Melodifestivalen 2019, the popular band returns with a Swedish song by Thomas G: son (with 60 songs at Melodifestivalen) and Bobby Ljunggren (with 50 songs in Melodifestivalen).
Paul Rey, after his successful presence at last year’s Melodifestivalen, returns. The song is signed by Laurell Barker, who has several participations in her assets both in the Melodifestivalen and in the Eurovision contest. Laurell Barker is, in fact, one of the creators of “El Diablo”, the Cypriot participation in Eurovision 2021.

The first semifinal of Melodifestivalen will be broadcast live at 20:00, at the Annexet Arena in Stockholm, with presenters Christer Björkman and Lena Philipsson.
