Today we have the second semifinal of MGP, the Norwegian selection for Eurovision. Obviously all eyes of Norway and Europe will be taken to the amazing song ‘I’m with you’ performed by 18-year old singer AnnSofi and composer by no less than Alexander Rybak, the 2009 ESC winner with Fairytale.
That it is without any doubt a much anticipated entry has been proven since the official announcement last wednesday. The youtube club of the song got already over 10.000 views and the song has charted the Norwegian Itunes-charts since thursday. AnnSofi is looking very forward to tonights performance as she stated on her official facebookpage. Having watched her live performances during her X-Factor two years ago, we have no doubt that she will do a very good job and will run to the final of MGP which will take place on saturday 9th February.
Alexander Rybak himself won’t be able to be at the show as he will be giving one of his concert along with Didrik solli-tangen (ESC 2010) and Elisabeth Andreassen (ESC 1982/1985/1994/1996) in the city of Trondheim. The concert is one in the many that has kicked off at Drammens Theater on 17th January. Rybak will not even know about the result until after the concert, although we have a feeling that somehow he will be kept informed or that people in the audience will let him know somehow.
We would like to wish Annsofi and Alexander all the best of luck and hope them to see back on 9th February and in Malmรถ! Oikotimes will be tonight on the spot to make a full report on the show.
