ISRAEL – According to Israeli media, Michael Ben David is contemplating withdrawing from representing Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin.

According to Ynet, the singer is upset with the behaviour and internal politics of the team with whom he is collaborating on his participation in the competition.

According to a person who spoke to Ynet:

Michael enters the tournament fully, but if he realizes that there are choices that would deprive him of the ability to represent Israel with honour, he will not participate.

According to KAN, the artist is still working on the song that he would use to represent Israel, as well as the music video.

Michael Ben David won X Factor Israel earlier this month with “I.M,” and the song is going to be reworked ahead of the Turin competition.
