CZECH REPUBLIC – Mikolas Josef, one of the most streamlined Czech artists, returns to the music scene after about a year of silence. He is accompanied by his new single “Lalalalalalalalalalalala“. The song was created as a reaction to a difficult time and follows its recent emotional expression on Instagram.
“It’s about rejecting insincere relationships, about rejecting the false world of social networks, about the helplessness and difficult situation of artists at a time when their existence is at stake and there are really no solutions for them. At a time when we have to adapt and stop your concerts, it makes sense to open up the topic of illegal downloading of music and movies, and thus promote a perception of the value of art.”
According to Mikolas, right now, more than ever, it is necessary to learn to look for the music on legal digital music services and perceive it as a product that was created at a certain cost. The red inscription STREAM over the bloody cover and in outdoor advertisements encourages artists and listeners to stream.
The new song will be released this time in four different forms, including acoustic. Individual versions will be published gradually over a period of one month. On the same day that the new single is released, ie on October 9, Mikolas launches a new merchandising collection inspired by this single, which the singer designed together with Diana Gan. Fans can look forward to the video ten days after the premiere of the audio, ie on October 19. We can also look forward to a short documentary about his return to the stage and you can watch it on Tik Toku.
MIKOLAS MESSAGE ON INSTAGRAM
“Tonight is not only about releasing a new single & merch,” he wrote. “Tonight I step over the shadows I believed will be the end of me. We all got our demons and reasons to feel beaten down and I sincerely pray everyone emerges victorious from their struggles. Today that is my only wish. This one is for the fighters. Let the song be a reminder to everyone that when you take arms against the sea of troubles you already won.”
