CHISINAU, MOLDOVA – Moldovan national broadcaster after confirming participation to Stockholm’s Eurovision Song Contest edition revealed information for the country’s Eurovision entry.
O Melodie Pentru Europa will be again the national selection show through which the entry will be decided. There will be two semifinals (February 23, 25) and a final (February 27).
Each semifinal will present 12 acts. 8 from each semifinal will proceed (7 from jury and tele voting combination and 1 by 100% public voting). In the final 16 acts will compete and the winner will be decided by combined jury and public voting.
This year the national selection allows only Moldovan artists while authors can be of an international origin. Submissions due on December 7th. 50 acts will proceed to live auditions on December 19th and then 24 will be decided for the live shows.
