PODGORICA, MONTENEGRO – Bojan Jovović, a former member of the band No Name, which represented Serbia and Montenegro at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest, has joined the trio Hihgway that is set to participate for Montenegro at the upcoming Eurovision in Stockholm next year.
Bojan will join Petar Tošić, Luka Vojvodić and Marko Pešić. ”I like the band’s music because it’s different and because they needed a vocalist and keyboard player because they had planned concerts and participation at the Eurovision Song Contest, I decided to join them”, he said.
Highway will release details of its Eurovision entry early next year and recently did some recording in Zagreb. The for-member band will continue taping their first album after they finish their Eurovision participation.
”They’re not afraid to ask for advice, listen to tips and accept criticism and they aren’t vain or fake, despite being the recent stars everyone knows they’ve become in such a short time. I’m 10 years older than them and have 11 years of experience on stage, so that can only help them. We get on well and I’m sure we’ll agree on songs as well”, Bojan says.
