Myth #1 – Financial insolvency
Kyiv has enough funds to cover all costs concerning the contest preparation and conduct. The budget was contributed both by the Ukrainian government and Kyiv local authorities.

It proves the fact that all challenges faced are successfully managed, and they cannot frustrate the contest.

It also launched the competition on design stage, official tour and ticket operators. The works on arranging the Eurovision locations surrounding territories, transport infrastructure, and ensuring security are in the process as well.
What is the next?
The winner of design stage, official tour and ticket operators will be announced in early December. The contest tickets (after the price confirmation with the EBU and operator) are expected on a sale in a few weeks but no later than January 2017 The construction works the International Exposition Center (stage, tribunes) will start from mid-March 2017, the venue design will be incorporated with the selected contest theme.
