Greek international diva Nana Mouskouri, who entered the 1963 Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of Luxembourg, is releasing today the international version of her latest album “Rendez-vous”. Released in France in 2011, the new international version contains different songs but yet again all are sung in duet with major artists including some very well known past Eurovision entrants such as Julio Iglesias (Spain 1970), Lara Fabian (Luxembourg 1988) and Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou (Greece 2005).
From 2005 till 2008, Nana Mouskouri traveled from Europe to Asia, the USA and South America within the frame of her Farewell Tour. The singer, who has sold more than 300 millions copies of her records since the beginning of her career, ended her tour with a spectacular two-night concert at the Herodes Atticus, in Athens. The show, which was particularly focused on her Greek repertoire, was released on DVD in 2009.
However, in the coming days, another DVD and Blu-Ray will be released internationally: the exclusive footage of her 2007 concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London, during which she performed no less than 37 of best successes.
