Canadian singer Natasha St-Pier, who successfully represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest held in Copenhagen in 2001 has announced a new tour as from April 2013.
Currently busy with her assignment as one of the new vocal coaches of popular TV talent show “The Voice” in Belgium, Natasha St-Pier will kick off her tour with a big concert at the very prestigious Olympia music hall in Paris on April 11th, 2013 within the frame of the Festival Génération Réservoir.
No other date have been communicated so far but it seems that the young singer will eventually have the opportunity to present the songs from her latest album live on stage later next Spring. The sales of her 6th album, “Bonne nouvelle” (Good news) have not been very good, reaching merely 20,000 copies sold, despite a new fresh music style and two singles sent to the radios.
Besides her own solo projects, Natasha St-Pier will also promote the two other duets she has recorded this year. One with popular singer Enrico Macias entitled “Dis-moi ce qui ne vas pas” (Tell me what’s wrong) and one with prolific singer and songwriter (he wrote/composed the 1978 and 1995 French entries as well as the 1978 and 1979 Monegasque entries) Didier Barbelivien entitled “Que serai-je sans toi ?” (What would I be without you ?”) by the late Jean Ferrat.
