In the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 Second Semi-Final held on Thursday 16 May 2019, they qualified to the final. At the finals, their entry received the highest points from the European public’s televoting with a total of 291 points, although combined with their lesser score from the jury groups they finished in 6th place, with 331 points.

A WINTER’S NIGHT
KEiiNO’s new single «A Winter’s Night» is about missing a loved one. The soundscape is airy, with acoustic instruments and a string quartet forming a comfortable carpet under Alexandra Rotan’s naked voice.
The lyrics are about longing and describes going into a winter’s night alone. Half of the income from the song will be donated to Mental Helses Hjelpetelefon, so please stream/ buy the song via this link: https://lnk.to/awintersnight “A Winter’s Night” is written by KEiiNO, Alexander Olsson and Stein Roger Sordal.
Produced by Tom Hugo, recorded in Cederberg Studios with a bunch of talented Norwegian musicians and a string quartet from Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra. Aleksander Waaktaar has written the string arrangement. Mix and master by Christer Andre Cederberg.
The cover is painted by the Kristiansand-based street artist Arne Vilhelm Tellefsen.
KEiiNO says about the song:
“We like to change our personal playlists when it starts to get cold, the rain whips on the window and the wind howls outside the door. So we wanted to make a song that could give the listener a bit of the same effect as a big, soft blanket. At the same time, we wanted to address a theme that is important as we approach Christmas, a time that can evoke memories that make loneliness extra painful.”
KEiiNO has toured large parts of Norway and played for full houses in Europe and Australia. Now they are heading out on a Corona-adapted before Christmas tour è adapted to the whole family.
Together with their band, KEiiNO will play their biggest hits in addition to a bunch of acquaintances and loved ones songs in a sound image adapted to the season. There will definitely be a Christmas spirit, singing and alljoik
