VALLETTA, MALTA – During the live show the audience from countries not participating in Junior Eurovision 2014 were supposed to vote online through http://www.junioreurovision.tv. The system failed and therefore we will not have an announcement of such a winner. The so promoted projected of the EBU to involve the international audience failed by the tele voting company and the EBU unfortunately for many of the fans from non participating countries who wanted to share their votes as well. It would have been interesting to see the result anyway!

To balance this out – It has to be reported that last year there were 2000 votes during the entire event and this year there were 37000 votes during the first few SECONDS – no wonder the system broke because, surprisingly, you can’t predict a 19 fold increase in your votes!! – There were attempts to restart the system but they failed. This was announced on the Press Conference afterwards ( Either if you were there “live”, or streamed).
Epic fail :(
