VIENNA, AUSTRIA – The 14th anniversary party of oikotimes.com took place last night at the Ottakringer Brauerei in Vienna, the host city of the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. This event marked a special moment for me and my website and I would like to thank some people for that:
- Thank you Olivier for the amazing second year staying and barring with me in a Eurovision event
- Thank you Stefan for all the logistics and the hard work for years now on the name of our site
- Thank you Victor for the sacrifices and the patience you had with me especially in video making
- Thank you Vassilis for making me smile and laugh in such hard working times this year
- Thank you team (Luka, Jaime, Morten) for helping although you are not here with us
- Thank you David Pozo Navarro for honouring me once again by attending my party and remain for 14th year a true friend of mine
- Thank you to all my friends who came to our party and honoured me with their presence (Roni, Douwe, Alexander)
- Thank you Fabrice, Quentin, Romain, Dete for the amazing collaboration this year
- Thank you Farouk not only for your amazing photos but also for the amazing DJ set last night in our party
- Thank you former oikotimes.com editors who helped me improve with your contribution in the past years. We might not be in touch or together anymore but I am happy to see you evolve and achieve work in newspapers, broadcasters and international websites
- Thank you Sietse Bakker for sending me your wishes although you couldn’t attend due to the Jury Rehearsal
- Thank you ORF’s Ruth Kienast for making my dream possible: the party was exactly as I imagined it
- Thank you Ottakringer Brauerei for the amazing facilities, logistics, help and providing me with amazing volunteers to help everything run smoothly last night
- Thank you Christiana for the amazing hosting of the show, the amazing Eurovision medleys and for endorsing the event as if you are a true member of the website team.
- Last but not least thank YOU, the visitors of oikotimes.com who follow, read, react, interact with my website, a website that aims to challenge mind and thinking, to share passion of a bunch of fans regarding the contest. You might love or hate oikotimes, but still I always feel your passion for Eurovision and no matter the comments, the attitude and the content I always feel WE ARE ONE!
