ITALY – Volunteering is inextricably linked to the Eurovision Song Contest. Volunteers are the soul of Eurovision and they are the ones who ensure that the delegations and the public will be able to move safely and easily to the venue and the host city.
The municipality of Turin has started the search for 600 people who want to volunteer their services for Eurovision 2022.
Those interested can submit their application here until February 14.
The places and periods of volunteering
The volunteers will work at the Pala Alpitour and in the surrounding areas, in Piazza Castello, as well as in the hotels that will host the delegations, as well as in the volunteer secretariat of the municipality. The dates that the volunteers will need are the following:
- from 1 to 25 April
- from April 26 to May 7
- from 8 to 14 May
- from 15 to 20 May
Each volunteer should cover at least 3 shifts.
The activities in which the contribution of the volunteers will be needed are the following:
- management of services to the public inside offices and outdoors
- provision of tourist information
- welcoming delegations
- cordination of press center and delegations,
- accreditations, transfers,
- cooperation in the volunteer secretariat
“Follower” intending to contact a specific delegation (knowledge of English required)
Only adults with a Green Pass can apply to access the above areas in accordance with applicable coronavirus regulations.
