This year, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest works together with KidsRights, a Dutch non-profit organisation that stands up for the rights of children. By voting for your favourite artist during the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, you directly support KidsRights and help children all over the world! This is a great collaboration because this way children from various countries together support less fortunate children in their needs.
Every child has talents. All children have dreams. KidsRights believes in a world where all children have access to their rights and have the opportunity to develop their talents and make their dreams come true.
KidsRights stands up for the position of very vulnerable children wherever they are in the world. KidsRights promotes and supports the 5 basic rights for children: the right to healthcare, healthy and varied nutrition, education, shelter, and the right for attention.
KidsRights sees the children as “change makers”. Each year, KidsRights presents the International Children’s Peace Prize to an exceptional child, whose courageous or otherwise remarkable actions have improved children’s rights, anywhere in the world. This prize gives the winner a worldwide stage to let his voice be heard. Also, KidsRights provides direct support to 30,000 vulnerable children around the world, through local projects.
All contributions (however small) are very much appreciated. Your donation will support KidsRights in helping even more children toward a better and brighter future. Together with you KidsRights truly “gives a voice to the voiceless!”
