BELGIUM – Belgian media are suggesting that broadcaster RTBF will internally select the country’s next Eurovision representatives.
Several singers are believed to be of interest including Pierre Lizée and Olivier Kaye. Lizée is the hot favourite, having been a semi-finalist at Belgium’s The Voice talent show this April.
The singer mixes pop, rock and hip hop genre and uses an English accent. Pierre released the song “I’m Just A Ghost” prior to his participation on The Voice.
On the other hand, Olivier Kaye reached the final of the same talent show and recently released a cover of Usher’s “Slippin”. Olivier focuses primarily on commercial pop but has some electronic influences in his singing.
RTBF is believed to have already written several songs for these two artists before it makes the ultimate decision on who will represent the country in Ukraine next year.
