WARSAW, POLAND – The Polish broadcaster TVP has released full televoting results following an upset win by Michal Szpak, who finished ahead to favourites Margaret and 1994 Eurovision representative Edyta Gorniak. The results reveal a convincing win by Szpak who was over 10 percentage points ahead of Margaret and her entry “Cool me down”.

Michal Szpak – 35,89%
Margaret – 24,72%
Edyta Gorniak – 18,49%
Dorota Osinska – 8,71%
Natalia Szroder – 4,20%
Kasia Mos – 3,39%
Taraka – 2,26%
Aleksandra Gintrowska – 1,74%
Napoli – 0,59%
The Polish national final was watched by some 2,7 million people, which came as a disappointment to TVP. Following the final, there has been criticism of Szpak and even accusations of plagiarism. However, TVP says there have been no official complaints and is standing by the country’s Eurovision representative.
Michal Szpak will represent Poland with the song “Color of your life” in Stockholm. The country will perform in the first half of the first semi final.
