WARSAW, POLAND – Poland’s first Eurovision representative, Edyta Gorniak, has again teased of a return to the contest after placing second in 1994 with the song “To nie ja” (It wasn’t me).
As one of Poland’s most popular singers, Edyta wrote on her official Facebook page, “I need to know how you feel about it?โ, accompanied by an image of the Eurovision logo.
As expected, fans are encouraging the 43-year-old to do her country proud once again on the Eurovision stage. The singer’s return to the contest has been tipped for several years now.
Edyta’s Eurovision appearance proved as a breakthrough in her career and she remains the best placed Polish representative.
Polish broadcaster TVP will host a national Eurovision final on March 5. The singers taking part in the show are still unknown.

Poland was represented by Monika Kuszynska in Vienna in 2015 with the song โIn the Name of Loveโ. While achieving 8th place in the semi final, Monica achieved a disappointing 23rd placing in the final.
