Amsterdam trip of Ochman and his crew has come to an end. Last Saturday, together with 27 other representatives and the star of the evening – Loreen – Krystian graced an event called “Eurovision in Concert” organized in the AFAS Live hall. The amazing atmosphere of the performance for “River” was additionally sparked by the crowd of fans, who turned on the flashlights in their phones.
“This week was amazing. Was able to travel and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Beautiful countries, beautiful people, and the atmosphere of it all was incredible. Work ain’t done yet though – got a lot ahead of me. Can’t wait. See y’all in Spain.”
It’s not a secret, that the Eurovision Song Contest is not only a great music experience for each of the performers, but above all, an opportunity to integrate and get to know each other’s music markets. The accompanying events, that took place in recent days, gave Krystian a chance to meet other representatives. More conversations he also had with Sam Ryden (UK), Chanel (Spain), We Are Domi (Czech Republic), Monika Liu ( Lithuania), Emma Muscat (Malta), or Kalush Orkestra, whose special Polish-Ukrainian bond you could read in the last edition of our newsletter.

And on Tuesday Sam Ryder continued with the promo, this time on home territory on Good Morning Britain. Sam explained that he took a bit of inspiration from Billy Joel and that he wrote the song on a boiling hot day in a studio with no windows. Richard interrupted him to bring up the fact he thinks Ukraine will win it all and that the competition is basically a run for second place.
“They are fantastic,” Sam says, clearly not bothered if Ukraine does in fact win. “I met those guys in Amsterdam yesterday. They’re so fun. They’re just stoked to be there representing their country at such an important time.”

Easter Holidays is a special period for all Poles – it gathers families, and fills them with peace and joy. However, these holidays are special also because our sisters and brothers from Ukraine are present in many Polish homes.

Our hearts are always and will always be open to those, who fight for freedom and independence.” – says Maja Frybes, head of the Polish delegation.
“We know, that even with small gestures like our Easter breakfast together, we can show that in every darkness there is a light that has great power. I am convinced, that this is the beginning of a beautiful, long-lasting friendship. ”
