Tomorrow sees the official start of Eurovision 2013 in Malmo with the Semifinals draw. The day begins with the exchange of insignia, a tradition recreated every year between the former host city and the new one. This will mark the official start of Eurovision 2013 and the recognition of Malmö as the host city.
The Semifinals draw will take place at 14.00 CET, you’ll be able to watch it HERE live. Denmark and Norway are already drawn into first and second semifinals respectively and Israel is also included into the second semifinal on account of a National holiday on the 14th of May. The draw will include 30 participants, the UK, Spain, France, Germany and Sweden are directly qualified to the final. The first semifinal will include 16 participants and the second 17. Once the semifinal draw has been completed, a draw will be made to determine which draw the qualified finalists will broadcast and vote in.
