BUCHAREST, ROMANIA – This spring, Moment of Silence – the song which represents Romania at Eurovision, performed by Ovidiu Anton- will be played live on stages from London, Amsterdam and Brussels. Before the final from May, in Stockholm, Romania’s representative at this year’s European song contest will participate at several events for the promotion of artists and songs, which will compete within the Eurovision 2016.
“I am looking forward to meeting the Eurovision fans from abroad. The message of the song Moment of Silence is more actual than ever – the power of men is in solidarity, in the ability to face difficulties by staying united, and the concerts are a good opportunity to bring this thought in the heart of the European public” has declared Ovidiu Anton, Romania’s representative at the Eurovision 2016.
The first event, Eurovision In Concert, will take place in Amsterdam, on April 9th. 18 of the final artists have confirmed their participation at the Amsterdam concert, till this moment. Ovidiu Anton is also delighted to introduce his song to the European public and will also be present at Eurovision In Concert, where he will perform live “Moment of Silence”.
London Eurovision Party is the second promotion concert of the Eurovision finalists. Ovidiu Anton will participate at this event on April 17th. London Eurovision Party, will take place at Cafe de Paris in London, which is a glamorous and exclusivist club in West End. This year, London Eurovision Party reaches its 9th edition and it is one of the most expected events by the Eurovision fans. The organisers announce also special guests at the event from London, apart from the contestants’ performances.
And in the next period as well, Ovidiu Anton will take the song “Moment of Silence” at the Romanian Spring from Bruxelles on April 24th, an event of the Romanian community from the Belgian capital. The dates are about to be confirmed later on.
“This year, we had a strong wish to continue the tradition of the participation at these concerts and to be able to offer our representative an international recognition. The organisers are offering accommodation in the three cities, and through a partnership with a tourism agency, we have succeeded to cover the transportation expenses as well. There are two important aspects considering the difficult financial situation Romanian Television is facing at this very moment”, has declared Iuliana Marciuc, the Head of Romanian delegation in Stockholm.

ESC singer shows Israel as a horde of cockroaches
Update (Mar. 30, 2016, 7:30 pm): All the images and links of which I earlier took screenshots have been removed from Ovidiu Anton’s Facebook page!
Romania will be represented by Ovidiu Anton at the Euro Vision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm with the song “Moment of Silence”. Today, on 30 March 2016 I made a screenshot of this image made public on his private Facebook page five days ago:
A certain Antonio Oreste Moisidis later posted on Ovidiu Anton’s page an image of the Romanian dictator, Ion Antonescu Victor, whom he praises. Under the title of “national leader”, Ion Antonescu was the Prime Minister and Marshal of Romania from September 1940 until August 1944 and as such led Romania as an ally of the Axis powers during the Second World War. Under his rule, hundreds of thousands of Jews were murdered in concentration camps and also by the Romanian military.
For nearly a week, a glorified image of a war criminal can be seen worldwide on Ovidiu Anton’s Facebook page!
Under that picture, Antonio Oreste Moisidis provided the following link on March 25:
In one image, Elie Wiesel is defamed as a liar. There is also a depiction of a horde of cockroaches, each with an Israeli flag on its back. A foot tramples the insects under the slogan “Keep our world clean. Fight Zionism!”
For nearly a week, “Israeli cockroaches” can be seen worldwide on Ovidiu Anton’s Facebook page!
On May 12, 2016, Ovidiu Anton will share the stage with Hovi Star from Israel at the Euro Vision Song Contest in Stockholm and compete for the finals. Does Ovidiu think Hovi Star is a cockroach; otherwise, why is he promoting such rubbish?
Ovidiu Anton will be singing “Moment of Silence”. It’s time to break the silence and ask him why he equates Israelis with cockroaches.
