- The Bosnian representative at 2011 Eurovision Song Contest, Dino Merlin, has weighed in on his country’s non-participation at the contest in recent years. Merlin says, “I think you should only go when you have something to present, it doesn’t have to be rich but it should be solid. You shouldn’t go just to participate”. He adds, “If there is any doubt, we should just skip an edition. Other countries do that as well. They wait for a better chance”.
