According to Israel Hayom Niki Goldstein, Moran Aharoni, Eden, and LUKAH will audition for The Next Star 2020. It is also confirmed that the show will be sued once again for selecting the artist for Eurovision 2020 but there is no clarification yet if there will be a second show f the song selection or it will be internally chosen.
The final stage of the selection of the 25 songs that will compete in the five semifinals of MGP 2020 is Norwegian Public Television, as the national final producer Stig Karlsen tells us. The turnout was great this year too, as more than 800 songs were submitted!

In the final stages of picking the artist and songs for MGP 2020. We have gone through about 800 songs, met up with hundreds of songwriters, producers, artists and music business professionals. Had a bunch of listening sessions and analysed feedback from people in different age groups and with different background. Now it’s down to own flair and expertise, and the brutal prosess of choosing the 25 that will grace the stage during the biggest TV event in Norway. Katerine Duska has been confirmed as a vocal coach in the ANT1 music talent show THE FINAL FOUR. She will be also joined by Stefania Rizou (2018 backing vocalist for Azerbaijan).

Last month, Ukrainian concert agency Show Impulse announced via Facebook that the MARUV tour in North America would be postponed indefinitely. The tour, which was to begin in New York on October 4, will instead take place in 2020.
