ROMANIA – Roxen, Romania’s representative at Eurovision 2021, shocking statement: “I’m a boy in a girl’s body”. The young singer told her TikTok followers that she considers herself a non-binary person, meaning she considers herself neither a girl nor a boy.
“Since I was little, I feel like a boy in a girl’s body. Imagine that I had to go to competitions and it was all dresses, I had to get dressed and it was a horror for me or the hours lost in the mall. In my previous life, I was really a boy. Honestly, I always thought and felt that I was a boy in a girl’s body”, Roxen told the fans on TikTok.
Psychologist Radu Leca had an intervention on Antena 3, in which he talked about this phenomenon and how we can explain it to children.
“It’s very difficult to explain to a teenager who has rebellious hormones what a non-binary person means or what a pansexual means. If we refer exclusively to the notion of pansexuality, we know that it is represented by a person who can be attracted to men and women alike, but not necessarily sexually, but can also fall in love with them”.
non-binary – a controversial topic
“Regarding the idea of โโnon-binary, here we have multiple controversies, which are part of the building structure of the organizational elements and rules and ideas of the LGBTQ community. In this sense, if you are going to explain to a 13-16-year-old the notion of non-binary, you have to be extremely well prepared. Here we are dealing with ideas that need to be considered, that does not bother or upset.”
“Equality, from all points of view, it must be seen exactly as it is promoted, not in a different way “, said the psychologist Radu Leca on Antena 3.
Of course, the jokes around the web about been a non-binary person is the cause of lack of voice, and talent, are definitely not endorsed by oikotimes!
