Eurovision 2004 winner, Ruslana, who attended the Antwerp Pride 2013 closing ceremony on August 12th, send a special message to Portugal and suggested to the Portuguese to support Rui Andrade for Eurovision 2014, thinking that it’s time for the country to play a key role in the scoreboard next year.
Rui Andrade is a singer and actor from Portugal. He is well known for making the paper João Pedro in a portuguese television serie called “Morangos Com Açucar”. He is a fan of Eurovision Song Contest and also a fan of some eurovision singers such as the 2005 winner Helena Paparizou.
He tried to represent Portugal in Eurovision 2011 with the song Em Nome Do Amor and with Amor A Preto E Branco ending on a 3rd place on both occasions, Rui is currently playing a leading role in the musical ‘Grande revista à portuguesa’ which is likely to run already till early next year. RTP is still set to make an official announcement about their returnal to Eurovision, but it seems it’s only a matter of time now.
