RUSSIA – Sergey Lazarev is once again a favourite for the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest but for many years now he has proven he doesn’t need a trophy to prove his artistic value as very year his concerts are sold out anywhere they take place.
Sergey kicked off his N-Tour in Germany with Bremen as his first stop. During his concert he performed his Eurovision 2019 entry “Scream”. Don’t moan for the footage, it was the only decent one we could find.
In the meantime Russia is still second in the betting odds, moaners continue to complain about the song (their annual job anyway) but knowing how Sergey and his team work we can only suspect the glory of his stage performance which is described by the singer himself as “epic”
Don’t forget the web trolling against Sergey in 2016 which proven not to have thee slightest impact as her won the public voting. Recently Sergey addressed the moaners.
I remember what a squall of criticism was after the song “You are the only one”, which I performed in 2016 in Stockholm. There was a lot of talk about which song is not catchy, which one is very “formatted”. Then they spoke to me like that, but after the song went around the others according to the vote of the audience, everyone changed their opinion immediately.
The Russian participant for Eurovision 2019, Sergey Lazarev, will be one of the host of the Russian version of All Together Now. The series is coming to Russia for the first time later this month, with the show start on March 23rd on Rossiya-1.
By the way Sergey, instead of following the usual promo tour, he’s promoting himself and his Eurovision entry by targeted solo concerts around Europe!
