RUSSIA – Today, all of the contestants performed their songs live for the first time in front of a professional judging panel, which selected half of the ultimate conclusion following five days of public online voting.
With the assistance of experts, the participants this year created the staging and costumes for their performances on the program. No matter how much time passes between now and Saturday at 18.00 CET on Karusel, we won’t be able to see the final until tomorrow.
The Russian entry to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will once again be performed by Karusel and the Igor Krutoy Academy. It was a multi-stage procedure that included an open call for song submissions, internal audition and the recently taped national final show.
Twelve artists made it to the final round of the competition, and as a result, they received custom-written songs only for them.
On December 19, Tanya Mezhentseva will represent Russia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2021.
She will sing “Mon Ami” (My Friend) at La Seine Musicale in Paris, where she will also be representing Russia in a duet with Demberel Oorzhak.
