PORTUGAL – Salvador Sobral, winner of Eurovision 2017 in Kiev has had to cancel three concerts scheduled for the coming days, sue to medical concerns. The artist’s own official site confirmed the news, stating that Salvador would be unavailable on medical grounds for the coming days. The concerts are the F Festival in Faro on the 31st, on the 1st and in Anadia on Saturday 2nd.
The concerts will be rescheduled for a later time. His scheduled time on stage has been covered by other bands for the F Festival, although a new date for when Salvador Sobral will take part is yet to be confirmed. It is expected that a return to the stage will take place on September 8th at the International Culture Festival of Cascais, something confirmed by Sobral’s agent. For his part, Sobral had booked himself for a total of over 30 concerts over the whole of Portugal and it seems that this may have been too much for a man who’s health issues are well known and which should hopefully clear up towards the end of the year.
