Krista, the 2013 Finnish Eurovision representative is honoured to be taking part in the same event as the legendary Bonnie Tyler who will be representing the United Kingdom. Krista has sent Bonnie a message and hopes to see her in the final on May 18.
Meanwhile, Sandie Shaw, the first Brit to win the contest back in 1967, says Bonnie Tyler will not win Eurovision. “She’s got a terrible song and deserves much better. I don’t know why they do this – why don’t they let the public choose? Bonnie’s a fantastic person and has a fabulous voice but if they don’t get to pick the song or the person it stops people feeling involved. Mind you, I was chosen for Eurovision without a public vote but I think I was a popular choice” Sandie says.
