STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN – Sarah Dawn Finer has competed twice in Melodifestivalen and hosted it in 2012 alongside Gina Dirawi and Helena Bergström. Everything from rehearsals and adjustments at home to work as Sweden’s representative in the Eurovision Song Contest in place in Vienna.
Sarah Dawn Finer explains: Melodifestivalen and ESC, like many television entertainment programs, develops in people that they should think very much and face of the ESC is to the panel think about the songs, artists and performances. There is always a view that recognize themselves in, plus you get to hear stories about how it is to be with the ESC. Lynda Woodruff back at Eurovision
Eurovision Song Contest celebrates 60 years, and because of this, the BBC to broadcast a tribute gala led by Graham Norton and Petra Mede. The Swedish broadcast of the gala is framed by Sarah Dawn Finer and Christer Björkman from the studio in London. Lynda Woodruff will be the red carpet reporter and interview all participants.
Sarah Dawn Finer explains: Among the most common questions I get is “Lynda will resurface” and “I will compete in Melodifestivalen again”. When it was mentioned that SVT would make a setting to ESC 60 with red carpet so we began to brainstorm on how to do and then it was quite obvious that Lynda would be in a corner. The idea is that she should be a red carpet reporter sent from the EBU.
There is no doubt that the popular character Lynda Woodruff also left its mark in the protagonist himself. “I love playing Lynda and I love that there are so many people who like her. So it is with joy I let her have the opportunity to resurface, says Sarah Dawn Finer.” she says.
