Comedian, singer and TV host, Sweden’s Sarah Dawn Fraser, said she would like compete at the Eurovision Song Contest. Fraser, who sang an acapella version of ABBA’s “The winter takes it all” in Malmo this year, and also appeared as her alter ego Lynda Woodruff, says she wouldn’t want to compete for Sweden at the big event. “No. Not for Sweden. Not any time soon… but I would love to write a song or sing for the UK one year”. Although Swedish, Sarah has British roots as well.
The Swedish star has been busy recently with Eurovision commitments as well as promoting her album and holding concerts. She is about to travel to the UK to co-write songs with Glen Scott before heading back to Sweden where she will perform in a production of “Cabaret”. Sarah has already attempted to represent Sweden at Eurovision on two occasions – once in 2007 and in 2009 where she reached the final of the national selection Melodifestivalen.
