SERBIA – Last Saturday Konstrakta was crowned the winner of Pesma Za Evroviziju 22, winning first place with the consent of the public and the committee.
The song In Corpore Sano and the eccentric stage presence won the impressions, making it stand out among the other participations of the night.
In an interview with Blic, the Serbian representative spoke, among other things, about her plans for the presentation of In Corpore Sano on the stage of Pala Alpitour and whether there will be changes in the song.
Konstrakta stated that the song will remain in Serbian as the language is interrelated with the music.
With the translation into English, I think that the existing rhythm, which is specific to Serbian, will be lost. For now, we are in favour of it remaining in Serbian and we will see how all these statements in the piece will reach the public. Either it will be done through subtitles, or on screens. We will resolve this issue along the way but we are closer to deciding not to go in English.
It seems that Konstrakta and her team will keep the same stage presence as we saw in the national final. Answering a relevant question, he stated that since something is working, there is no reason to change it. More specifically, she stated:
We will stay in what already exists. It is quite well thought out and I think it works. There will be a change in the details, we will not change the concept.
