The Serbian representatives at this year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Moje 3, are ready for the biggest event in their career. The Serbian broadcaster RTS organised a special going away party for the trio which leave Belgrade for Malmo on May 5. Three backing vocalists will follow Sara, Nevena and Mirna on stage. They will be Ksenija Milošević, who was Serbia’s backing vocalist in 2007 and 2012 and Bosnia and Herzegovina’s violinist in 2011, as well as Dunja Vujadinović and Jelena Mitić.
The girls will have a completely new stage performance to that of the national final choreographed by Miloš Paunović while Ana Ljubinković designed the costumes. The styling will be “teenage like but very feminine and glamorous”. “You have to give it your all and have a good stage performance but the singing is the most important. We have interesting costumes, good backing vocalist and everything should be great”, Nevena Božović said adding that they have been preparing for Eurovision for a very long time now.
The executive director of Serbia’s Eurovision participation, Duška Vučinić-Lučić said it is up to Moje 3, RTS and the entire delegation to leave the best impression and bring Eurovision back to Serbia. Assistant director of the office of the Serbian diaspora, Rastko Janković, wished the girls the best of luck and handed over the Serbian Eurovision flag which has followed all participants since the country’s debut 2007.
