ENTERTAINMENTWISE.COM REPORTS
Simon Cowell is contemplating taking on the biggest challenge of his career so far expressing a serious interest in discovering the UK’s next Eurovision star sparing Britain the embarrassment of scraping a handful of points at the bottom of the table yet again. This year the UK entrant ‘Total Eclipse Of The Heart’ powerhouse Bonnie Tyler finished 19th out of 26 managing to muster a measly 23 points while last year Engelbert Humperdinck only just missed last place coming in second from the bottom in 2012.
However if anyone can turn our luck around it’s X Factor mastermind Simon Cowell who revealed that he would love to find the UK’s next Eurovision hopeful. When told by a Twitter follower: “The UK needs you to bring the Eurovision under your control and restore national pride as the Eurovision kings have fallen.” The music mogul responded: โI was thinking that maybe I could work to find the right artist to represent us. If they would let me.”
Former Pop Idol judge and ex colleague of Simon, Pete Waterman previously claimed that the 53-year-old has always been keen to get involved with the singing contest penning a song for our Eurovision entrant. Meanwhile ‘Remedy’ singer Little Boots recently admitted she would love to represent the UK at next year’s spectacle.

Can’t stand Simon Cowell. He’s the last person i’d want involved. Luckily i think it’s very unlikely as he’s contracted with ITV
I would like Simon to do the say who would represent the UK next year
I’d love it if Little Boots sang for the UK. She’s one of three of my dream artists.
