ROME, ITALY – Sister Cristina became known from the huge media attention received in The Voice of Italy in 2014. Speaking to La Repubblica, Sister Cristina declared interest to participate in the 2016 edition of Sanremo Festival as she thinks she has the best song for it.
Not many remember her since her triumph in The Voice of Italy and her debut album didn’t do well inland although it did achieve Golden Status in France.
Working on her second album, mainly targeted to the Brazilian market, she might be using Sanremo Festival for promotion.
Even if she goes to the Eurovision Song Contest there is a big problem with the rules as she will not be allied to wear religious clothes or symbols something that applied for Switzerland in 2013.
