El Sueño de Morfeo (English: Morpheus’ Dream) is a Spanish band. Their musical style is pop-rock fused with Celtic, folk rock and indie pop elements. The band was originally formed in Asturias as Xemá, and released an album under this name in 2002.
Their first album as El Sueño de Morfeo, an eponymous album, came out in 2005. Their first single “Nunca volverá” was an instant sales hit in Spain, and their second single, “Ojos de cielo,” cemented their place in the charts. The group received a significant push in their career when they appeared on the Spanish series “Los Serrano.”
The third studio album, second as El Sueño de Morfeo, “Nos vemos en el camino,” was recorded during 2006, and released in April 2007. Two years later, in June 2009, they released their third album, “Cosas que nos hacen sentir bien.” Their 4th album, entitled “Buscamos sonrisas” was released in February 2012, with the first single “Depende de ti” released in advance in mid-November 2011.
