REVIEW BY ADRIAN
- Atrรฉvete (Dare): this song won the online selection against Revoluciรณn. This is the typical upbeat song from the band, cheerful and lively, โvery Morfeoโs styleโ, with space for bagpipes, flutes, violins and instruments, where the band is using for the first time, an instrument called, banjo. This could work well at Eurovision, as it’s so different from the entry that are already chosen for Malmรถ. One of the most relevant things on this song, is the catchy refrain. In front of Eurovision, it should need some arrangements at the end. Spain has never sent something like this, do you think this time should be our chance? (7/10).
- Contigo Hasta El Final (With you all this way): the favourite entry. Lots of positive comments, opinions, and good ratings for this entry have been coming up today, even Raquel expressed on her official Twitter account. The main and the most impressive thing here, is the beginning. WHAT A BEGINNING!, as any of the songs, which are already chosen for Malmรถ, have. The rest is very nice, because after the bagpipes beginning, we have a ballad part, to reach a pop/rock time at the end of the song. It’s not monotonous and the lyrics is easy to remember (how beautiful!)..definitely, this the song, my country should send to Eurovision 2013. It could need arrangements at the end to rock, a little bit more. (9/10).
- Dame Tu Voz (Give me your voice):ย ย electronic & modern elements combined with Celtic touches, rockers and catchy melodies, which is characteristic of the group. This song is probably, which will finish last on February 26th, though it has a positive feeling and beautiful as well, but not the strongest one. Everyone, who can understand the lyrics in Spanish, can realise about the beautiful message of the song. (6/10).
REVIEW BY BELEN
Atrรฉvete:
This is the most powerful song of the three finalists, a very positive song from the beginning wich start with an amazing bag pipe melody. Not only the music, also the lyrics are positive, inviting all who listen it to enjoy the life and forget the worries: “Jump! Don’t be afraid! To win you need to learn to lose!…”. It is a pop-rock with celtic melodies: violin, bag pipe and banjo.
Contigo Hasta el Final:
This is the favourite to represent Spain, It has been revamped with a new amazing beginning with very celtic melodies (bag pipe and voice). The song is an untempo Rock Ballad with very good backing melodies, love lyrics this time in the positive way as the rest. Bag Pipe and violin join tunes to Rachel’s voice for this original song.
Dame Tu Voz:
The most commercial song, It has some electro tunes and celtic melodies. Very positive chours and message about love, at the end there is a very beautiful part of celtic music wich concludes the song. The lyrics tell about a person who asks to join voices to send a message of hope these difficult times.
