TURIN, ITALY – Torremolinos wants to host Eurovision 2023 if Spain wins this year’s contest. The announcement was made by the town’s mayor, Margarita del Cid, during the presentation of the Torremolinos Pride 2022, which will take place from Monday 30 May until Saturday 4 June
Madrid has also expressed interest in hosting Eurovision 2023 if Chanel wins tomorrow’s Grand Final. Begoña Villacís, the vice-mayor of Madrid, has stated that Madrid should host Eurovision 2023 if Spain wins the 2022 contest. She explained:
“I want Chanel to win and for her to bring the contest to the capital. Very good things are happening in Madrid and the only thing missing is this contest. We deserve to be the host city and we are more capable of doing it. We have a really good infrastructure to host the contest. It is a welcoming city. Wherever you come from, you can come here and feel at home. Madrid is a city that welcomed Chanel and all the Chanel’s in the world.”
The mayor of the city of Valencia has expressed his wish for the city to host Eurovision 2023 should Chanel win next week’s Eurovision Song Contest. The mayor of the Spanish city of Valencia has stated his city will formally submit a bit to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 should Chanel bring Spain its 3rd victory at Eurovision 2022.

The city of Las Palmas, the joint capital of the Canary Islands has put their name forward as a potential host city for Eurovision 2023 in the event that Spain wins the Eurovision Song Contest tomorrow night. The mayor of Las Palmas tweeted his support for Chanel and put his city forward as a potential host, stating that it is an area that appreciates music and culture.

Following this, it was announced that the first-deputy mayor of Barcelona had also put their name into the ring with the Palau Sant Jordi as a potential venue. He claims that “Chanel has a relationship with Barcelona and Catalonia that everyone knows. It is perfectly possible that we propose this candidacy.”
