MADRID, SPAIN – The 2014 Spanish representative Ruth Lorenzo spoke about her life in a popular UK TV show. She discussed how her life was a mess and how she was saved by two Mormons. Then few nights ago on Spanish TV Pepa Bueno interviewed Ruth and got more revelations for her life.
She expressed her support to LGBT community as she doesn’t consider Mormon religion as something against homosexuality and she thanks them for saving her life when her biological mother gave her away. She got lots of love and she learned English and she felt in love with music during her stay in the US.
She also admitted the experienced anorexia and bulimia at the age of nine! A fight that continues up to now, aged 32, receiving a lot of help (most psychological) and working hard against it.
Former hotel worker to make some cash she admitted she refused a UK record deal because the artistic idea was not something that was expressing her. Since Eurovision 2014 she got a great offer which she accepted. “The day I knew I was going to represent my country in the Eurovision Song Contest I thought, this is my chance, letยดs do it!”
