MADRID, SPAIN – Spanish national broadcaster is seriously considering its return to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year according to http://www.eurovision-spain.com. The broadcaster already registered the trademark “Eurovisiรณn Junior” in the patent and trademark office.
In 2006 Spain decided to withdraw from Junior Eurovision Song Contest despite its successful history in the contest as TVE’s Javier Pons considered the contest to “promote stereotypes that we don’t share… dangerous cross stripes”
TVE is not going to alone in this venture are they are working the project with commercial broadcasters who are dealing with similar projects like Telecinco.
